News Advisory:

Campaign for America's Future co-director Robert Borosage and Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg are available to comment on what the midterm elections will mean for Democrats.

This election cycle, Democratic candidates across the country have unified around a set of common themes. They are calling for changing the course in Iraq, standing with Americans on kitchen table concerns and indicting Republicans for being in the pocket of oil companies and corporate lobbyists. They represent a new generation of economic populism.

At 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, Borosage and Greenberg will release the first major post-election survey analysis of the issues deciding the 2006 congressional elections, with data from some of the most competitive races throughout the country. The Campaign for America's Future will also release an analysis of the messaging used by Democratic and Republican campaigns in television advertising, stump speeches and debates in ten of the most hotly contested races around the country.
