The audio of the address will be heard through local Univision Radio, Latino Broadcasting Company, Radio Formula, Radiovisa, Radio Bilinge, and CNN en Espanol Radio affiliates after 11:06 a.m. ET on Saturday.

Below is the English translation of the address as recorded.
Good morning. This is Senator Bob Menendez from New Jersey. This coming Tuesday, November 7, Latinos can make the difference in elections across the country. We have the ability to make our voices heard and vote for those who respect our rights and will look out for our best interests. We can vote for leaders that will set a new direction for America or we can stay the course with Republican leaders who have done nothing but protect their political power and attack our community. While Republicans have controlled the White House and the Congress, they have chosen to take America down the wrong path, and putting their party's interests above the best interests of our country and the interests of our children.
This election is about our fundamental values. The Democratic Party has ALWAYS stood up to fight for our values, our families, and to provide opportunities for everyone in America. The Democratic Party is the party that understands that whether you're a working family making ends meet with a minimum wage, or a middle class family struggling with the costs of health care and high gas prices, you deserve to be represented in Washington. And your hard work should translate into more, not less opportunities for yourselves and your children.
While Democrats have fought for a real strategy in Iraq, a war I'm proud to have opposed from the very beginning, Republicans in the majority haven't allowed it, choosing to stay the course with the President's failed policies. While Democrats fought for comprehensive immigration reform, the Republicans in the majority didn't allow it, instead they chose public relations stunts. And let us not forget that it was the overwhelming majority of Republicans in Congress who voted to make felons out of hard working undocumented immigrants and the clergy, nurses and others who help them.
And while Democrats fought to make health care accessible to everyone in America and create more opportunities in education, the Republicans in the majority again said no.
My Latino sisters and brothers. This coming Tuesday, November 7, our people have an extraordinary opportunity that we cannot allow to pass. We have the chance to make America what it should be.
The America I love honors a lifetime of hard work with Social Security and never squanders our bravest on a war that makes us less safe.
That's what's at stake. But that's not George Bush's agenda. And Republicans in the majority will be just another vote for George Bush.
Please join me in electing Democrats on Tuesday, and together, Latinos can make the difference to change America 's direction.
This is Senator Bob Menndez from New Jersey. Thank you for listening.
