Federal Mediator Working With Two Sides in Effort to Renew Negotiations
BUFFALO, N.Y., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Teamsters Local 375 and representatives from Rural/Metro have agreed to work with Federal Mediator Kenneth Armes on scheduling a new round of negotiations.
While no specific date has been set, early indications are that the next round of negotiations will occur in November following the conclusion of the presidential election.
We believe that with the active engagement of our members and the recognition by the company of the compelling equity and safety issues at stake, a workable solution is within reach, said Michael Filler, Associate Director of the Teamsters Public Services Division.
